For a large part of my life, I worked in roles that had very little to do with sitting in front of a screen. I have been a soldier and a professional diver, experiences that taught me discipline, responsibility, adaptability, and the importance of working well under pressure.

My interest in programming started when I realized how many problems and repetitive tasks could be solved more efficiently through software and automation. But it was when I found out I was going to become a father that I made the decision to change sectors and build a better and more comfortable future for my family and myself.

That is why I decided to study a Higher Technician Diploma in Web Application Development remotely. After finishing it, I continued expanding my knowledge through online courses, constant practice, and personal projects. I have also enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science to continue growing professionally.

During this time, I have had to combine my studies, my full-time job, and the birth of my daughter in a foreign country, so it has not been an easy path. Even so, I have been applying what I learn in my current company by creating internal tools that help improve workflows and solve day-to-day problems.

My goal now is to fully transition into the IT sector as a full-time software developer.

I consider myself an adaptable and responsible person, with a strong work ethic and a real desire to keep learning. I also believe one of my strengths is finding practical solutions and improving work processes once I understand the environment and the real problems behind them.
